Moving baby to her own room
So our baby is 12 weeks old and I know it’s not recommended this early, but logistically we need to start transitioning her to her own room in her crib. She currently does most naps in her crib (we have no started any formal sleep training yet we are just working on good sleep hygiene/routines) and sleeps in her bassinet next to be at night.
She naps horrible most of the time and I’m not sure if it’s a sleep cycle thing or a crib thing. She sleeps amazing in her bassinet at night most of the time. Like 11 hrs with one wake up.. so I’m nervous to take it away.
I was thinking about sleeping with her in her room as she gets used to being in there at night. Is this a good idea or should I just have her in the alone from the beginning? Should I move the bassinet to her room first or go straight to crib?
I’m terrified of messing up her amazing night sleep but I know it’s the right time for us to move her. Please give me all the tips. Thank you!
