Hd6xx beginner question

I was thinking about returning my hd 550s to buy the hd 6xx, unfortunately i do not have the budget to buy both and try them, but i was wondering if these would be "bad" for movies and gaming, i do listen to music mostly but i watch decent amount of movies, i know theyre not the same by any means (im not an audiophile) i just started to get into sound stuff because i love music but have never had any good headphones and the hd 550 sound amazing but i wasnt sure if i was missing out on really good sound with the 550s, i also wanted to know if theres a big difference with the 6xx and the 600s or if i could eq the 6xx to sound like the 600s
