I love my standing desk but getting my monitor position right is another story smh
I've been using my standing desk a lot more lately and tbh he desk itself is the easy part lol
Hit the button, go from sitting to standing, get back to work. But once I change positions I'm usually moving the monitor too. Lean over to read something, step to the side, sit back down and suddenly you're reaching for the monitor again. I legit didn't realize how often I was doing this until recently. The desk changes height depending on what I'm doing but the monitor obviously just stays where I left it.
So I have started looking at monitor arms. I keep seeing some popular names like Ergotron and Humanscale etc though its good if you wan something with more range and easier positioning.
But then I started comparing regular manual arms with some of the newer robotic ones and ngl it looked kinda interesting. We've basically gone from manually moving the monitor to having it adjust itself based on where you're sitting lol..I'm actually not sure that I actually need that yet but I can see the appeal now that I've noticed how much I move my own monitor around.
I want to know how everyone else handles. Do you keep the monitor in one spot or are you moving it around every time you change positions.
