I’m contemplating leaving home

Throwaway account, I’m 18 so not sure if it would count as running away. Stuff has been happening at home for a couple months now and some arguments with my parents have ended with them telling me to leave. At first they said it in anger, but I’m starting to wonder if they’re serious about it.

I’m not in a super great financial situation right now since I need to pay for gas, insurance, phone line, and if I do end up leaving I’m going to end up paying for my therapy which is what my mom is paying for at the moment.

My friend offered me a place to stay when I need to study since they know that my family drives me insane.

I’m looking at different house listings in my area, but none are within my budget. I work part time and I’m a college student. I have an almost full ride which covered everything except housing and food.

I’m not sure what to do now or if this was the right place to post this, but I need advice on what I should do since I don’t think I can continue staying with my parents any longer.
