Is it just me, or 2v8 trials are ending faster than ever?

I'm not sure if it's too soon to say this, but I think this might be the worse 2v8 version so far.

After a few rounds (both killer and survivor) I feel like rounds end faster than ever, and it's probably because of the guide role.
In all the rounds I have played there's always been at least 3 or 4 guides (aka 4 toolboxes in play) and guess what? In less than 5 minutes there's already 3 gens popped or even 5 gens pop in that span of 5 minutes. I don't know if I'm really unlucky, but this is affecting negatively my experience in 2v8.
When playing as killer, I find it very frustrating that gens pop extremely fast before we get at least half of the survivors in second hook stage.

and playing as survivor doesn't help either, I barely get to do anything because of guides completing gens extremely fast due of starting with toolboxes

I don't know if I'm the only one that's having this bad experience.
