Left my doctor's office in tears today. How are you actually getting doctors to listen?

Just came back from my appointment and I'm beyond furious. I'm 42, waking up at 3 AM with heart racing, completely exhausted, brain fog making my job miserable, and irregular cycles.

The doctor basically spent 5 minutes with me, ran basic blood work, said "all your numbers are totally normal, you're too young for peri, it's just stress," and handed me a prescription for an antidepressant.

I know my body, and I know this isn't just "stress." For those of you who actually managed to get proper support, what specific labs did you insist on? And how did you frame your symptoms so they couldn't just dismiss you with the usual "it's all in your head" routine? Did you bring a written log or checklist with you?
