Why even have flock cameras if the cops won't use them??

Yesterday morning my truck was stolen and I made a report with the police at 1pm. This morning through a long series of calls, I was talking to a deputy about 2 hours away and he manually searched the flock system and found a hit on the truck at 8pm the night it was stolen, just 15 mins from my house.

But of course flock didn't notify of a stolen vehicle because the police still hadn't marked it as stolen.

The ONE TIME the cameras could be useful, the cops didn't do anything to mark the truck or even search the cameras!
