Vanilla V3 hyphen problem

Has anyone else using V3 gone through the same problem? The bot will start overusing hyphens in all sorts of ways, like for example: "the surroundings are a cold-white-and-light-blue" or "he held her like-a-prized-possession". It's quite annoying, does anyone know how to stop that from happening? I usually edit the message but it doesn't make much of a difference.
