anticheat

not really raging (more baffled) but i’ve been playing since 2019. since then, i can only recall playing in a match with cheaters 3 times ever in all these years. today though, i decided to work towards my Tools of The Trade achievement (killer has to win five games and get merciless killer using only three universal perks). i have 1/5 and start my second game.

at first, i thought it was a sabo squad. i did notice they had a ton of gen progress really quickly even though i was on them from the very start of the match. and when i say good gen prog, i injured two survivors doubling a gen and two feet away is a solo survivor with a gen 90% done. this is twenty seconds into the match. i damage it and move on without paying much attention. i down a survivor, someone sabos so i slug and go after them instead. the sabo survivor (not even joking in the slightest) just holds w and i cannot catch up. i bloodlust (up to bloodlust 3) and still cannot catch up. they also only dropped 3 pallets total the entire match so when i say hold w, i really mean just running straight. this reoccurs in every chase with all but the very first survivor i downed.

with one particular survivor, i notice their scratch marks disappear out of nowhere and think maybe a boon but I don’t lose line of sight. the survivor fully disappears out of thin air. this particular survivor also ends up fully lagging out and turning into a bot when they had already won and all they had to do was leave.

some things i thought could be ping or just me having a shitty match so i just shrug it off until i see the end game lobby. there was no boon. no lucky break. no exhaustion perks. nothing. after everything i saw, i call my cousin who is my duo when i play survivor and explain everything. she 100% believes i was playing with a cheating swf. i think all but one may have been but i dont want to just assume they were. everything was just so bizarre though and the game genuinely felt like a fever dream.

also the match lasted a total of 3 minutes. only two survivors had items (both toolboxes but one was set up for sabo) and only the survivor i think was not cheating was running hyperfocus with stakeout. the rest were either only running hyperfocus or no gen perks at all. idk ya’ll it felt really, really bad. if they truly were cheating, then denuvo is shittier that the easy anticheat if im getting 3 cheaters in 7 years to suddenly getting possibly 3-4 within one match.
