Is 22/23 too young to get married?
For background, my boyfriend and I have been together since I was 16 and he was 17. He went to JUCO, so we were still in the same town as I started my college in our hometown. Then he transferred to a school three hours away, and we have still happily been together since, seeing each other only on weekends for the past two years. We plan on getting married this May. I’m supposed to start graduate school in June, so we want to be married before I start so we can move to the new city together. He’s even looking for jobs in that city so we can for sure be there together. He’s ready to support me at any school I choose and loves me so well. Maybe social media/Reddit is fear mongering me, but are we too young? All of my family and friends are so supportive, and in fact have just been waiting for us to get engaged, but all I see is just people who got married young divorced after 10 years. I think I just need some peace of mind that everyone has their own experiences. Any positive input would really help! Thanks!
