Is he a DA ?? Will he come back ? I need help
I had a religious marriage with my ex-husband in January 2026, after years of an intense and unstable relationship. We met in 2021 as colleagues, became close, broke up and reconciled several times, including a year-long separation at the end of 2023 when he ignored me. He won me back in 2025, and we had our religious marriage at the beginning of 2026.
The months after the marriage were difficult — constant tension, arguments, and me feeling like I was carrying everything on my own. Several times, he framed our problems as stemming from my trauma and fear of abandonment, without acknowledging how his own behavior (especially blocking me during arguments and the harsh things he said) directly triggered those wounds. At times, he also told me that he would be happier without me.
On July 29, he told me over the phone that he wanted a religious divorce. That evening, he sent me harsh messages about keys, belongings, my father, and the PACS, along with pressure and threats. But in the days that followed, his tone softened: he said he didn’t hold a grudge against me, described the relationship as toxic, said that I needed to heal, that he was grieving our relationship, and that I would remain in his heart. When I directly asked him whether he would have waited for me to heal, he said, “I would have waited,” and confirmed that he would wait for months if we tried again later — adding that it also depended on me and my parents. He said the divorce was only about our arguments, and he even sent an email asking about my period of purity in order to calculate the ‘iddah for a possible reconciliation.
Then things changed. A few days after the divorce, I posted an Instagram story implying that I had almost ruined my life by marrying him; his mother and sister unfollowed me. My father was also openly angry with him. We blocked each other. After 20 days of silence, I broke down and tried to contact him several times (calls, texts, emails, from different numbers) — he never responded, and instead asked my brother to make me stop. When my brother asked him whether I should give up all hope of reconciliation, he said, “Yes.” He sent a similar message to my father. Since then, he has blocked me everywhere.
I’m confused by the contrast between his softer words immediately after the divorce (crying, being willing to wait, saying I would remain in his heart) and his complete refusal to have any contact with me now. I know that I have real wounds to work through, and that the relationship was probably unhealthy and needed to end. But he never apologized or acknowledged his part in what happened — he only ever pointed to my need to heal. What I’m wondering is whether he will ever acknowledge his own role and apologize, not to reconcile, but simply to acknowledge what happened — or whether I need to accept that this may never happen.
