What should I do now? Any advice would be helpful.

I want to earn by myself to support my family and gain some independence.

I'm from a CS background, and there is a 3-year gap after my graduation due to family issues.

My parents are not allowing me to get a job. There are no good industries where I live, so even if I apply, there would be a need to travel, which is their main concern.

After my graduation, which happened during COVID, we didn't get proper training from college. So, after graduation, I learned MERN stack and WordPress through YouTube, built projects, and also made some open source contributions.

So, I still keep making applications even after not getting support from my family, but the MERN field is too saturated nowadays, and it's hard to find jobs, my applications get minimal responses.

So, I try to find remote and WFH opportunities, but there I'm facing even more difficulty as it requires high proficiency and expertise.

I don't have any network, friends, or connections.

And, my laptop is old, has started having issues, and is pretty slow now.
