Actual slowburn stories

I've recently read 3 books of Blade Angels/Academy. While there is a lot of things to say about them, what I appreciated the most is how the story really gave a lot of time for the romance and attraction to develop between Ren and the various girls, especially the first 2.

I'm looking for other stories where the story gives enough time and space for things to develop slowly instead of rushing to the conclusion of the romance arc(or not having one altogether).

To clarify the series in question has books that are individually about double as long as the standard length and there is like 1.33 girls per book, though that's more like 1 girl in the first 2 books and then 2-ish in the last third.
So if this was 6-standard sized books it would be like 0.5-0.6 girls per book. That's kinda what I'm looking for.

Genre-wise I prefer fantasy and not slice of life, but I'm open to anything that is openly slowburn.
