Clerks II: There's a scene where Elias geeks out over Lord Of The Rings with another fan, and Randall butts into the conversation so Kevin Smith can get on his soapbox about how much he dislikes the franchise and why Star Wars is so much better. The fanboy he's arguing with only uses the awards LOTR won and the quality of the Prequels as his argument, and Randall Facts and Logics him so hard that he pukes.

"Little Brother" by Cory Doctorow: The entire book is Doctorow's rant against the post-9/11 hysteria. The protagonist gets annoyed by the terrorist attack that kick-started the plot being all over the news. The Department Of Homeland Security are evil for... inconveniencing people with security checkpoints. Yeah, they spy on Marcus, but only because he made himself look completely suspicious during his interrogation. The people who support DHS are portrayed as either idiots or assholes. The whole message falls flat when the protagonist, Marcus, is a hacker who has used his skills to invade people's privacy. But, let's not ignore the point this book made about how the Patriot Act affected white people and literally nobody else.

Sequelitis: In the video comparing A Link To The Past and Ocarina Of Time, there were several moments in the video where he would take shots at Skyward Sword. SS is personified as a whiny tofu block who wants attention. Arin is so proud of one of his disses that he gives a self-congratulatory "oh, shit! Burn! Burn!" This bit concludes where he goes on a two minute crash out going over why he thought the game sucked and how he was baffled that it got so much praise upon release, and the rant ends with Skyward Sword crying like a little bitch.

Fire Force: I think we can agree that nobody likes Tamaki aside from gooners and ephebophiles, but I think the person who likes Tamaki the most is Atsushi Ohkubo. He is really proud of a character whose defining trait is getting stripped or accidentally groped, even during serious scenes like when Rekka bragged about experimenting on children. Apparently, Ohkubo caught wind about how some people feel about his homemade Waifu. So, we get a scene near the end of the series where Tamaki finally stops letting her Contrived Fanservice Lure holding her back and voluntarily strips during the final battle. That in itself could have been fine, but Ohkubo wanted to show off just how far he can get up his own ass by having a woman watching crashes out over this, and her five-year old son goes on a rant about how the only people who hate Fanservice are just ugly hags and prudes, and he truths her so hard that she fades from existence.

(Hated Trope) Moments, if not entire media, where the author is winning an imaginary argument
