How do people in Ukraine feel about marriages and relationships between Russian and Ukrainian people?

Hello! I'm from New York but my grandparents are Ukrainian and through their community, I've seen a few people in relationships or marriages between one Ukrainian and one Russian. I am just curious if this is a common thing in Russia and Ukraine too because I don't know how they do it with this war 💔 please forgive me if this is an ignorant question, I only know what I have seen here.
