It’s safe to use Iron Remover on wrap?

I just bought a bottle of adams iron remover for my wheels and saw some videos about using it o the car paint. But i wonder if i can use it on my cars wrap. I wrapped my hood months ago and right know it is cover of small white dots. I park my car several times near to a train line so maybe those dots are from the rusted dust of the train line.
