Advice for working/volunteering at Busby Centre

Im curious if anyone who works at the Busby centre can give any advice for what to do to become a more qualified applicant for the support worker role there.

I have a bachelors of science, one of the majors is in psychology. This or some other equivalents seems to be the minimum (mine being a less optimal minimum it seems), but beyond that it’s unclear to me what else would be necessary. I have lots of volunteer experience in challenging environments, am getting my first aid soon.

Do they have any volunteer options where you can learn certain skills that they would value for that position? I’ve tried reaching out to them a while ago, but they haven’t gotten back to me.
