Boyfriend wants me to dress up for him- nervous to try it, is this normal?

My boyfriend and I are both in our early 20s and have been trying to make our sex life a little more exciting by experimenting with new things. I actually posted here not too long ago about some of the stuff we wanted to try:

We recently talked more about what turns him on, and he told me he thinks it would be really hot if I dressed up for him. He’s the top and I’m the bottom, and I’m definitely more on the twink/fem side, but I’ve never actually dressed up before.

He ended up buying me a skirt and stockings and told me he wants me to wear them for him. I’m into the idea and want to try it, but now that I actually have the outfit I’m weirdly nervous about putting it on and walking out in front of him lol.

Has anyone else felt awkward or nervous the first time they dressed up for their boyfriend/partner? Did you end up getting more comfortable with it once you actually did it?
