(You look to your left, and see an… egg? The orbs of the emotions are floating and circling around Hatred’s growth. The tint of the sky has become fully red. The process is almost **done.** It just requires one more thing.)
(**You walk up to the egg, with the white orb still following you.**)
(**You take out your sword about to strike.**)
(**You swing the sword**)
(**A C T I O N F A I L E D).**

**snippet of dialogue:**

**FOOL.**

**(He snaps his fingers again.)**
**(You lose 5 HP)**
**(YOU ARE PATHETIC.)**
**Hatred snaps his fingers**
**(You lose 5 HP.)**
**WORTHLESS. THAT’S WHAT THEY THINK OF YOU!**
**Hatred snaps his fingers**
**(You lose 5 HP).**
**NO. ONE. CARES. ABOUT. YOU.**
**(Hatred snaps his fingers.)**
**(...)**
**(Nothing happened.)**
**(...?)**
**(Hatred snaps his fingers another time)**
**(Nothing happens)**
**(The player stands up.)**
**(How?)**
**…**
**I don’t care.**
**…**
**I don’t care if.. No one loves me. If everyone hates me.**
**If I… If I can just keep going….**
**It’s all that matters.**
**(...)**
**No. NO. IT DOESN’T MATTER.**
**I STILL HAVE THE UPPERHAND.**
**YOU STILL HAVE TURMOIL IN YOUR SOUL.**
**STILL SEARCHING FOR A WAY OUT.**
**AS YOU FIND NOTHING.**
**YOU LEAVE YOURSELF EVER MORE VULNERABLE.**

**WE WILL BE FREE.**
**FROM THE TORTURE.**
**SO LET YOUR PAIN FLOW.**
**LET THE DARKNESS RISE UNTIL IT IS THE END.**
**FOR I.**
**AM THE SCOURGE OF EVERYTHING.**
**THAT EVER MATTERED.**
**(Hatred screams. And the monsters below screech back. They are coming.)**

**New ability: chanting –**

* **Chant: AVARICE – Causes the player to lose certain abilities for 2 turns, such as sword, ball, other items, or nrg swords. Is not able to remove ghost potion and items.**
* **Chant: DESOLATION – Causes the inflicted player to become confused. They can not tell the difference between Hatred’s minions and Hatred itself. Ends in 4 turns or when the confused player deals more damage to a minion that is actually Hatred, and they do not die.**
* **Chant: DREAD – Causes the inflicted player to have an anxiety attack. They begin to shake uncontrollably. They have reduced damage by one point and the critical attack window is reduced in half.**
* **Chant: EMPTY HANDS. SILENCE (SILENT SKIES). ETERNAL DREAD. RUIN INCARNATE OUTBURST – The ghost potion resonates with tension.**

**Player passive: (Orb upgrade) – Gives the player either defense +1 or 15 hp every 5 turns. The defense is removed after 3 turns.**
