Sheet fabric for hot sleeper who doesn't like Percale

Body's been increasingly sleeping hot over the last 6 months for whatever reason. Ordered a hybrid mattress to replace my foam one. Now looking at sheets

What's the most breathable fabric that isn't Percale? Just purely breathable and naturally temperature regulating. 'Moisture wicking' means nothing to me. I just sleep hot, don't actually sweat. And I know 'cooling tech' (I guess more applicable to the mattress shopping I just did) is mostly a bunch of baloney. Just cool to the initial touch, doesn't last through the night

I'm coming from a Cotton Sateen. Tried Percale twice in the past, simply don't like the feel so would prefer not to. Perhaps I didn't try a good quality one though. Would getting an Egyptian Cotton help?

There seems to be conflicting opinions on Tencel & Bamboo? I think I'm more looking into Tencel. Linen is obviously the most expensive but does seem to be fairly universally praised yea?
