Am i missing content if i only read the omnibuses?

I already read omnibus 1 and 2 of geoff johns

I want to buy and read omnibus 1 from green lantern corps.

But the more i look into it the more it seems like i am missing content?

What would you guys advice ?

To just read omnibus 1,2,3 from geoff johns and omnibus 1 and 2 from green lantern corps. Or will i miss some amazing stories or tie in ?
