Google DCT l2 What to expect my first few weeks/months of working

Hey all,

I recently was offered and accepted an offer for a DCT L2 position in the KCMO area at one of the two sites and wanted to reach out to some fellow "googlers" that might be able to fill the gaps for me on expectations.

I accepted the offer late Aug, and my start date is coming up next week. Other than onboarding (background check, equipment selection, credentials, ect.) I haven't heard any from an actual supervisor or management on site.
I'm not too worried about that as everything else is rolling smoothly, it just is a bit unconventional compared to previous jobs, I'm sure once I knock out the credentialing appointment I'll feel more in the door at the actual site.

Anyways, a few questions below...
- Is my first week(s) going to all be online or can I expect sometime next week I will be visiting site for the first time?
- Is the job entirely on site with no WFH possibilities? (assumed on site, just curious)
- Will my schedule stay constant, or will it vary from time to time?
- Are all the workplace amenities really that great? I'm most stoked for good. free lunch!
- Final one, what's one thing I should know about the position before getting in the door?
