Got rejected after Document upload

I have appeared for an interview for the Custom Software Engineer on 29 aug then got a call that I am selected and after document upload now got a mail of rejection due to background unstatisfactory.Also my status on workday is inactive and showing no longer under consideration. I have already mailed multiple times but not getting responses. What should I do Is it clear that I am rejected?
