Anyone leave their job due to a conflict of morals?

Experienced

I'm currently working on a project that essentially will just allow our customer (a large industrial company) to enable the long term use of scabs in place of their heavily unionized workforce. It doesn't make the system any more safe (I'd argue it makes it slightly more dangerous when you replace a trained worker with an untrained one.) It literally just exploits loopholes in their labor agreement and in federal regulations. It's solely being created to diminish the labor power of their employees.

I've worked at this company for a long time and so I have a lot of experience in a very niche industry. However, I have no passion for this project. In fact, I loathe the product and everything it stands for.

Has anyone every been in a similar scenario? I'm curious to hear your thoughts. I know the job market is rough right now so I'd only leave if I could find another job. Even then, I'd be leaving a secure job with good pay and decent WLB. I'm stuck between leaving a good job in a shitty job market and helping produce a product that goes against my principles.
