How Valve can actually fix VAC Live in CS2
Hey everyone,
We all know that CS2 is in a rough spot right now regarding competitive integrity. VAC Live is a great concept, but AI learning takes too much time while rage-cheaters are ruining games today. Here is a realistic roadmap of what Valve needs to change to make VAC effective:
- Server-Side Telemetry Checks: The server should immediately flag and terminate the match if a player performs impossible inputs (e.g., 360-degree perfect snaps in 1 tick or constant through-wall trigger discipline without info).
- The "Trust Factor" Overhaul: Combine phone verification, hardware IDs (HWID), and Steam account age into a stricter queue for Premier mode.
- Community-Driven Overtime: Bring back the automated Overwatch system, but empower it with high-tier Trusted players and FaceIT-like verification to eliminate false bans while catching rage-hackers instantly.
What do you think? Would a deeper server-side check fix the current state of Premier?
