For those who did very non-medical research, how did you discuss in your apps?

I have ~750 hours of research in an agricultural science/plant biology lab, with one poster. I genuinely enjoy the research and have a personal interest in the subject, but there aren't really any direct ties to medicine like a lot of my friends have with neuroscience, cancer, or even general cell biology research, etc.

I'm wondering how others with similarly non-medical research experiences framed it in their applications and interviews. I’m worried it may present the idea that I am less committed to medicine given my interest and time commitment to a different subject area. I don’t have any other medicine related research to draw on.
