So with 4 episodes in and the preview for episode 5 I actually have a theory on what's going to based on everything we have seen

Episode 5:for this episode from the preview. Hal Jordan succumbs to sinistero manipulation. He ejects from the car leaving the car with John Stewart to crash. Hal is planning to bring the manhunter working with antaan people to bring the manhunter to the guardians to prove he's more worthy than Stewart. Zoe observes the crash and uses her healing technology to heal john Stewart. John returns angry and fights Hal and wins. While antaans group destroy the town and many people die. I think Hal will probably disappear and be stripped of his ring and John will maybe reject the ring and goes off.

Episode 6: we go in the 2026 timeline. Sheriff Kerry invites john to see that Hal is dead with a bullet in his head. Kerry accuses john of orchestrating it and locks him up. (My theory is that the body is actually Zoe disguising as Hal. And the one who kills her is lianna. Which would be the real antagonist in the show. Zoe does this so john can find Hal and find the truth. Which explains why john sheds a tear when he doesn't find the ring on Hal). John is locked up and guy finds him because he either he knows Hal isn't dead and here to help him or the guardians sent him to investigate john. I don't know how would it turn out but I believe john will somehow acquire Hal's ring which explains why we see hal o gram with John we know that john can also manifest constructions without using the ring.

episode 7:flashback of Hal backstory.

Episode 8: so I think with the aid of the Hal o gram john would seek to find hal and uncover the truth about the guardians. I think there's also a possibility that john would not wear the ring in this season the reason I'm thinking of that is because why would john cooperate with them even after the caused his traumatic childhood and would be involved in antaans death and manipulating him.

Additional theory:from all the details we have it seems that clearly the manhunter isn't the actual villain and it's either the guardians collectively or lianna. And it seems like why would she massacre antaans planet I think it could be the guardians who ordered her to do that or maybe they could go in the route that the guardians killed them themselves and they wanted to execute the manhunter as a cover up to relieve antaans requests.
