AI in VLSI (Are jobs safe?)

I see many posts in cs related subreddits regarding how AI is doing most of the job and how it has lead to reduction of team size and mass layoffs.

I was curious to know what is the situation in the VLSI industry. How is AI affecting VLSI industry ? Is there a threat to job due to AI (even if not now, but in near future ?)

People in VLSI industry, please give me your experience/opinions !
