Navimow X430 vs Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD 3000: buyer guide for 0.75–1 acre
This comparison uses current US manufacturer specifications, not hands-on testing.
Start with actual mowable grass, excluding the house, driveway, beds and hardscape:
- Navimow X430: rated for 1.0 acre
- LUBA 3 AWD 3000: rated for 0.75 acre
If the lawn exceeds 0.75 acre, the X430 is the only one operating within its published capacity.
Cutting system
The X430 has a 17-inch dual-disc cutting system and an electrically adjusted 0.75–4.0-inch height range.
The LUBA 3 has a 15.7-inch dual-disc system, but the height range depends on the version:
- Standard: 1.0–2.7 inches
- High version: 2.2–4.0 inches
A lawn maintained above 2.7 inches needs the LUBA 3000H. A lawn cut below 2.2 inches needs the Standard version. The X430 covers both ranges without changing models.
Slopes and terrain
Both are four-wheel-drive machines.
- Navimow rates the X430 for slopes up to 84% or 40 degrees.
- Mammotion rates the LUBA 3 for slopes up to 80% or 38.6 degrees.
These are controlled manufacturer ratings. A wet boundary, drainage swale or abrupt transition can cause more trouble than a clean interior slope.
Navigation
The X430 combines tri-frequency Network RTK with 360-degree camera vision. Navimow says it can be installed without a physical antenna where its Network RTK service covers the address.
The LUBA 3 combines 360-degree LiDAR, NetRTK and dual-camera vision. Its extra LiDAR input may be attractive around trees and buildings.
Navimow publishes support for up to 120 mowing zones. Mammotion lists up to 30 zones for the LUBA 3 AWD 3000.
Price snapshot
On September 4, 2026, Navimow listed the X430 at $2,249 promotional pricing and $2,499 regular price. Mammotion listed the LUBA 3 AWD 3000 at $2,799. Prices and promotions change.
Bottom line
The X430 has the stronger specification case for 0.75–1.0 acre, a broad required cutting-height range or an unusually divided property.
The LUBA 3 AWD 3000 is the more sensor-diverse option for up to 0.75 acre, especially where LiDAR is desirable. Selecting the correct Standard or High deck is essential.
