Nothing is going good right now!
So just for some context I am currently an international student studying in the UK. I was doing all good till last month. I even got a job before finishing my master’s degree. The thing is I recently shifted to a new house which I thought was very cheap at the first and honestly during the time of viewing it didn’t look that bad at all.
Now when I have finally moved their w my girlfriend and other friend of mine, it all seems very terrible. Moulds, locks not working properly, dirty bathrooms etc. Which made me cry on the first day itself of moving there.
I recently got an email from my uni saying I have not made point of contact for a month which was basically some grammer classes I didn’t want to attend, I did attend it for two month (June , July), but because I got a new job, my focus was my dissertation and my work and not some grammar classes where you get general instruction you knew since your school days.
They said this might impact my visa, they explicitly wrote if a student don’t make point of contact for more than 60 days, UKVI will cancel your visa. For me however, it’s only 30 days (month of August), I have been a regular student throughout the year with good grades and now this came out nowhere while I was genuinely focusing on my dissertation and work.
My work has started to getting affected by this, hopefully I won’t let it for long time, but this all seems a lot. I am on the verge of submitting my dissertation which is another whole problem itself.
The best thing about all this is my girlfriend is really supporting me through this tough times. That’s the only positive thing I am able to see rn, but I want this unexpected attack of all the problems to end soon.
