now, i will share my views on the 1000 years in Revelation 20:4-6.

let's start.

Revelation 20:4-6

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment/justice was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 

The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection. 

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

sino yan mga nagreign with Jesus? diba mga apostles and disciples? at nangyari yan after satan was bound/tied up. later i will show you na hindi literal na 1000 years yan.

1st Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

take note, Hindi MCGI ang kausap ni Peter jan ha, mga christians yan sa time nila.

sila yung mga Hindi sumamba sa beast at nagka mark(old covenant) nito. nanatili silang loyal ky Jesus Christ's gospel. na ang iba eh pinatay dahil sa pangangaral ng gospel.

and yan daw yung 1st resurrection. what resurrection? literal na patay tapos binuhay according to eli soriano para daw maghari ang mcgi ng 1000 years? NO.

Ephesians 2:1-7

Ephesians 5:14

This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Colossians 2:13

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

Romans 6:13

Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

so spiritual na binuhay sila mula sa sin. kaya naghari sila kasama ni Jesus. kaya nga diba there is no more condemnation sa mga ky Christ? wala na daw power over them ang 2nd death, kasi spiritually resurrected na sila. they were "made alive" with Christ.

bakit hindi sya literal na 1000 years?

kasi, ang time frame ng mga sinabi ni Jesus regarding sa mga events na mangyayari is 40-year period. like what he always mentions to his audience na "Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation."(Matthew23:36)

in the greek interlinear, the word thousand means (figuratively) emphatic, total inclusiveness, showing no one (nothing) is left out. powerfully stresses the meaning "full/inclusive" (totality).

eto examples ng mga verses sa Bible na meron gamit na "thousand years" pero hindi literal meaning...

Deuteronomy 7:9

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

- is God "unfaithful" to those beyond a thousand generations? if that's literal?

Psalm 105:8

He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations,

- how about a thousand and one and so on?

Psalm 50:10

for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.

- what if the hills are just 900? or what if the hills are more than a thousand?

see that?

so the thousand years mentioned in Revelation 20 is referring to the completion or fulfillment of Jesus' ministry to spread the gospel of salvation throughout the known world.

so when the gospel has been preached in the known world, then satan did a lot of deceiving as usual that lead to the great tribulation in the land and eventually the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70AD.

Revelation 20:7-8

When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

and so on...
