What is the best pH for cannabis in DWC?
A practical starting target is 5.8.
That does not mean the reservoir must remain frozen at exactly 5.8. A useful operating range is approximately 5.6 to 6.1, and some gradual movement is normal as the plants consume water and nutrients.
Watch the direction and speed of the change. If pH begins moving unusually fast, check the water level and EC before automatically reaching for pH Up or pH Down. Those measurements together tell you considerably more than pH alone.
