Girl (24) I’m Talking To (Male 23) Dislikes Physical Touch

My buddy set me up with a gal who I really like the past few months. We’ve been on 6 or so dates and I enjoy spending time with her

She informed me she likes to take things slow, is a independent person, isn’t in a rush, etc etc

So, for that reason, we’ve just held hands up till now. I haven’t even kissed her or anything or the sort or made any attempts to

Last date was a double date at her house, we watched a movie with an established couple. We cuddled up and she was running her fingers through my hair, etc… never once did she pull away and she actually was very touchy with my, which I liked. The other couple actually even complimented that it’s nice to see us giving eachother physical affection.

Fast forward to later that night when I get home, I got a big text about the physical touch is overwhelming, and she doesn’t like physical intimacy like that, not how she was ever raised etc etc so I told her I’d respect that and back off… but now the vibes are off and she seems to be treating me more like a friend.

She’s still making plans with me but the flirting stopped, and when we don’t hang out we don’t even hold hands.

Am I crazy for thinking this her friendzoning me? We both went into this with the intention of dating, not being friends.
