For almost 8 months now, I've been posting the same prompt (which you can find here, tl;dr It's basically an open letter to anyone with an incest fetish who wants to talk with someone about their fantasies) over and over, and it's yielded some fascinating results.

Of those who aren't immediately and outwardly weird/offensive (or who refuse to acknowledge the gender tag), I've gotten a good variety of people. In most cases, conversation is brief, usually lasting only one or two sessions before they disappear forever. Those who stick around, though, are more interesting than you might expect.

There are those like me who harbor a secret incest fetish and want nothing more than just someone to talk about it with. We go back and forth, sharing our fantasies and expanding upon what the other says, crafting deliciously naughty scenarios involving blood relatives.

Once in a blue moon, I'll get someone looking to RP. In that case, we'll brainstorm, coming up with a scenario from scratch and feeling things out in an organic, cathartic way. These generally tend to be shorter-lived, but they're certainly fun while they last.

Perhaps the most intriguing subset of people, however, are those who claim to have actually had experience with incest before. To be clear, these are not people claiming to have been abused; these are people who allegedly have a powerful romantic and/or sexual attraction to one or more family members and either pursued that attraction or reciprocated when the family member in question did so, themselves. When asked, they'll often speak at length about their experiences, sparing no detail upon being assured that they can speak freely.

Now, realistically speaking, are most of the stories even true? Probably not. Do I believe them anyway? That's not really a question I entertain. That might sound bad, considering that they're wasting my time if they're lying, or potentially admitting to something unforgiveable if not, but I've got a different perspective on things. You see, one idea that's greatly influenced me in these conversations is rule 5 of a certain subreddit that's very relevant to the topic at hand: "Assume every post is fictional, but comment as if every post is completely true".

The sentiment behind this rule has always struck me as the perfect attitude to approach these types of conversations: On one side, what fun is there to be had in calling every single claim fake? One the other, what point is there in grappling with their potential morality when there's no way of verifying them? We're just strangers on the internet, obscured by the impenetrable fog of anonymity, so things like "truth" or "reality" were never on the table to begin with.

Even so, I think that there's a fascinating undercurrent beneath it all: whether you want to tell me your darkest desires, RP them with me, or admit to how you might have actually acted them out, I've become a kind of secular confession booth for all things incest. People come to me to unburden themselves, regardless of whether they're looking to tell me their life story or spin some yarns about what turns them on. For my part, I find this role to be a thrilling one (even if I seldom use it to get off). The mere act of conversing about incest fantasies with someone who truly gets it is so freeing, and knowing that I'm doing the same for them simultaneously is even more so.
