[31m] fear I lead my coworker [39f] on
First thing I wanna say is I have 0 interest in this woman sexually or intimately. I just want to be friends, nothing more. Not even sure if this is the right thread for this, but here we are. Me and my coworker have been working together for about 2.5 years now, and recently I got moved to a new position that has us working side by side. That happened a couple months ago, and we got pretty close during that time. Didn’t think much of it until yesterday. It’s also worth noting that both me and her have very flirty personalities, not to each other but just to people in general. But yesterday we were hanging out having some drinks when we started talking about relationships and sex. I got out of a rough relationship a few years ago and am well over it, but because of it I have no interest in the dating game. I am sexually active, but I have a one and done rule and I make that very clear to woman before I go out with them. I would never be friends or have someone in my life that I have sex with unless they are my partner. She’s actually in a very similar situation as me, doesn’t date but is also sexually active, but she told me she’s fine doing it with her friends. She was VERY thorough about making that clear. When I said I wouldn’t do it with a friend it almost seemed like she was debating me on it, talking about how she’s able to leave it at that and not make things weird. Anyway, we went back and forth and eventually she dropped it. I wasn’t really thinking much of it until today, when I realized that might’ve been her trying to convince me into something. I hope it wasn’t because I value her as a friend and coworker, and I would never do anything with her. There weren’t any signs of her having romantic feelings for me unless I’m just missing something, but is it possible that she has sexual feelings? And if so wtf do I do, I don’t feel comfortable sitting across from someone 40-50 hours a week who’s thinking abt stuff like that, as weird as that might sounds
