Thinking about using a cargo e-bike for my commute. What should I consider?

I'm seriously thinking about replacing my car with an e-bike for my daily commute. My usual route is pretty much heavy traffic every morning & I'm getting tired of spending so much time sitting in it.

I’ve been looking at cargo e-bikes because I’d like something practical enough to carry my backpack and other work stuff, while still being comfortable for daily riding.

One of the bikes I came across was the Helokeep CD20. It caught my attention mainly because of the battery capacity and the fact that it seems built more like a utility bike than a lightweight commuter. The advertised range is up to 150 miles, although I assume real-world range would be considerably lower depending on traffic, hills, rider weight, etc.

The one thing I’m not sure about is the weight. It’s around 103 lbs, which seems pretty heavy if I ever need to move it around without riding it, carry it up a ramp, or put it somewhere for storage.

For anyone who uses a cargo e-bike for commuting, what would you recommend looking at before buying? Is a heavier bike worth it for the extra battery/carrying capacity, or would I be better off with something lighter?
