Advice w202 250d 1994

Hey everyone,

I’m having a weird issue with the instrument cluster on my Mercedes w202 250d 1994 and was hoping someone here might know what's going on or how to fix it.

Everything on the cluster works completely fine (speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights, etc.), except for two things:

The tachometer (RPM gauge) isn't working at all.

The outside temperature display at the bottom is completely dark/off.

Has anyone run into this specific combo before? Could it be a faulty Overvoltage Protection Relay (OVP), a blown fuse, a bad sensor, or just cold solder joints on the cluster board itself?
