Help me decide: Custom Orbea Terra Race (Rival AXS) vs. CUBE Nuroad C:62 SLX (Force AXS) after a bikefit

Bike

I recently had a professional bikefit and need specific dimensions for a size Medium frame: 165mm cranks and an 80/90mm stem with a 400mm handlebar.

I’m stuck between two options and would love your input:

  • Orbea Terra Race (G-Bikes Dealership) – ~$5,019 (€5.019 after discount):
    • Pros: Custom paint through Orbea MyO, includes high-end upgraded wheels, local dealer support/service, and comes 100% pre-configured to my exact bikefit measurements out of the box.
    • Cons: Equipped with SRAM Rival AXS and comes without a powermeter (would need to add a $250 Rival power crank arm later).
  • CUBE Nuroad C:62 SLX (12GOBiking) – ~$3,999 (€3.999 stock):
    • Pros: Better stock spec with SRAM Force AXS and an integrated powermeter.
    • Cons: Stock Medium spec comes with 170mm cranks and a 100mm stem. Replacing the integrated carbon cockpit and Force powermeter crankset to fit my measurements adds around $850 in parts and labor, bringing the total real cost closer to $4,850. Fixed stock color, online retailer.

Given that the actual price gap shrinks to roughly $200–$400 once the CUBE is modified to fit me properly, is it worth sacrificing the SRAM Force group and integrated powermeter to get the custom paint, better wheelset, and local dealer support on the Orbea?

Which path would you take?
