Equal relationship with minimal support

30F I’ve never dated much until recently and I am realizing now how prevalent the expectations for gender roles are. It had me thinking a lot about what kind of relationship I want. Honestly I just want a best friend, we both take care of our own chores, manage our own schedules with very minimal help and just do fun stuff together. When I think of “support” in a relationship it’s more like helping out on as-needed basis not falling into a role of doing all the chores other person doesn’t wanna do. is this actually rare or what?
