I(22f) feeling lonely and alone ever since my bf(22m) joined mba college.

Me and my bf has been together for 2.5 years
We recently started long distance since he joined an mba college in another city
We were doing really good before like everything is really good but now we are barely able to talk
He has classes till evening and he barely calls for 5 mins in a day saying he is busy with case comp. and assignments . So basically now our relationship since the past few months have become monotonous, he works and talks and sleep- no flirting no couple shit no romance no nothing…
He calls for 2-3 mins during the entire tenure of him being in college and tells lil update like this happened and now going for this class will call later( doesnt end up calling cos he gets busy in something or the other discussions acc to him)
I am working from home so ofcourse i dont have that env yk where i have a social circle and all… but things happen in my life like yk the small daily updates you would wanna tell your partner but now it feels like i dont want to share that with him cos i will get a basic ass reply.. and yes I’ve communicated all this to him he says he will do better and he is sorry that he isnt able to be all that cos mba is draining the life out of him where he barely has time for himself
( but whenever its his football match he always is that committed to atleast open his laptop to watch lol so its weird how sometimes when he commits he will call and doesnt end up calling but has so much commitment for his biweekly football matches😭😔)
He comes back late to hostel and we are able to talk for 30 mins before he falls asleep
Sometimes its just he will call me and straight up fall asleep
Only good thing is he will send good morning vm and like when he is starting from college to hostel and call before sleeping at all cost ( 98% of the time)
And before yall comment - he is cheating etc, ik he is not.

So my question to you guys is - is this how grilling mba is? How did you guys manage it if you all have been in this situation or he is exaggerating it and can defo take our more time for us etc?
