[TOMT] Old educational wizard game from my childhood.
[TOMT][Video Game][2010s] Ever since I got out of highschool about a year ago, I've been remembering alot of stuff from my school years, and one memory I recalled was about an educational game I played a bunch in middle-school that I cannot remember for the life of me.
I probably started playing it either in 2015 or 2016, and it was a 2D RPG (sorta, the RPG component was super barebones) wherein you were a wizard, tasked with going place to place and solving local questlines in a fairly generic medieval fantasy world. The catch was that in combat, your main mode of attack was through the conjuration of spells, and you would need to solve some math, science, or similar such problem in order to successfully cast it. This was also around the Animal Jam era of online game, so you bet their was a bunch of other features like online multiplayer, house decoration, overpriced membership for exclusive equipment and XP bonuses, the works. I don't remember alot of specifics about the game, but the game was predominantly a pixel-art style until they swapped over to regular drawn art and graphics, and there's two areas in particular that stood out to me, the first being this tropical location that gradually branched into this sorta lava volcano type of location, and this giant steampunk city situated atop a giant cloud accessible by beanstalk, inhabited either by bird or cloud people. One of the two.
