How I managed to quit 7OH with only 27 minutes of WDs

SUBOXONE BUPE SUBUTEX
I know the title sounds hard to believe. I was surprised myself. For a little context, my story with 7OH is just like anyone else's. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Pretty soon I was spending almost entire paychecks on the drug and could barely even function without it. Towards the end I was using *at least* 800-1000mgpd, sometimes more. This went on for the better part of two years. I'd have a week or two here and there where I'd quit using subs but I'd always just cave and use again. I finally decided enough was enough. I had a two week supply of subs but wasn't able to get any comfort meds. This time I did the vitamin C method, mega-dosing for a few days before i quit. 3,000mg every two hours or so. I used my last 200mgs of 7OH at 9:30pm and woke up at 10am with the hot flashes and sweats. It was brutal but this time it felt... different? The vitamin C *absolutely* softened the blow just enough to keep me from rushing to the store.
Fearing PWDs, I tried so hard to wait until the 24hr mark. I lasted 27 minutes before I decided to throw caution to the wind and take around 1mgs of subs. I knew right away that I had waited long enough. It was like a jolt of life went back into my body. I continued to use increasingly large doses, ultimately using close to 24mg in the first day.
All of a sudden I just didn't need it. It's been two weeks now and aside from some insomnia and depression (I really recommend an anti-depressant or mood stabilizer) I feel like my old self again. I feel like I used a cheat code. I know subs aren't for everyone but if you've tried CT over and over again, at least give it a shot. It was like my addiction was wiped away. I'm now tapering slowly off of the subs with a doctors supervision (that part is crucial).
