Virginity as a 16 year old

Is it considered weird not to want to lose your virginity as a 16 year old? I just feel like if I would lose my virginity, i will lose my purity. I believe that there is somewhere out there a beautiful, pure, and kind-hearted woman out there waiting for me to join her. So we can share our purity with one another.

Most people in my school have lost their virginity, so what am I behind others? Is that girl of who i am thinking about even waiting for me? Will I even find anyone? All I want is genuine authentic love, no lust, just a kind-hearted soul. Is that too much to ask?
