Ocarina of Time remake question

In the discord, a watch party was hosted for the Nintendo Direct today (9/8) about the new Ocarina of Time remake. I, while having very limited experience with the original, was quite enamored by what I saw and am feeling excited and want to play it, but some of the other members shared some disappointment, so I wanted to ask this question I had.

Would you prefer a very faithful 1:1 remake with some quality of life fixes and modernizations, or would you prefer a remake with a lot of additions akin to Mario 64 DS?

Personally I have no dog in this fight since I’ve played so little of OoT, but I’d love to hear your opinions
