Request for Humanitarian Help and Contact with Church Leadership

I am asking for humanitarian help and for someone to help me reach the appropriate Church leadership.

I am in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. I currently have internet access but no working cellphone. I am dealing with an urgent medical, financial and humanitarian situation.

I also need to explain why I am asking outside my local congregation.

For approximately a year, I have been documenting a situation involving my local chapel and Church members. I repeatedly asked for an explanation and for the opportunity to address the matter according to Matthew 18. Instead, I was told that sometimes the Church must “act as one” in order to correct someone.

I specifically asked for contact with the stake president. That contact was not provided to me.

At one point I was told that people would come to Ensenada to teach me. The president of the quorum and his counselor came instead. I experienced that meeting as an attempt to provoke me rather than as the private, respectful conversation I had requested. I again asked for the Matthew 18 process, and that request was refused.

I have preserved and exported the relevant conversations and communications. I am not asking Reddit to decide the entire dispute. I am asking for someone outside this local situation to help me reach an appropriate Church authority or legitimate humanitarian resource so that the matter can be heard and my immediate needs can be addressed.

After my surgery on January 12, I was left without the support I had previously relied upon from my local Church community and my family. I now have serious financial difficulties, medical needs and an immediate need for food and practical assistance.

I am not asking for money through Reddit.

I am asking for:

• a legitimate contact who can help me reach appropriate Church leadership outside my local congregation;

• humanitarian/food assistance if available;

• guidance regarding the appropriate Church process for raising a documented concern when local leadership has refused to provide the contact I requested; and

• a person willing to communicate with me by email because I currently do not have a working cellphone.

I can provide documentation privately to an appropriate person or organization. I will not post private medical information, addresses, financial information, passwords or identifying information about other people publicly.

I am exhausted, but I am still trying to resolve this through appropriate channels rather than through confrontation.
