1899 Unbound — We're building the RedM server we're sick of looking for.
I'm tired of RedM servers where half the roleplay is dictated by arbitrary rules.
Wait 30 minutes before committing another crime. You need X cops online. Your gang can only have X members. You have to say the magic words before shooting. You got knocked out, so now apparently your character has fucking amnesia.
We're trying something different.
1899 Unbound is an 1899 world first and an RP server second.
If you rob the same town repeatedly, we're not interested in slapping a cooldown on you. We want the town to remember you. We want the Sheriff hunting you. We want witnesses talking. We want wanted posters going up. We want your reputation to become the problem.
Same with staff. Staff aren't there to decide who won an RP scene or protect their mates. They're referees. Conflicted staff recuse themselves. Serious punishments get reviewed. Appeals aren't decided solely by the person who punished you. Evidence beats rank.
If your character creates a problem, the world deals with your character.
If you as a player create a problem, staff deal with you.
The server is not live yet. We're building the founding community first because I'd rather build this around 30 people who genuinely understand the idea than throw together another script pack and pray people show up.
Law, medical, staff and canon gang applications are already open.
