Is it possible practically to make a setup like this?

Is it possible to use promox as daily-driver on Desktop PC in a VM, I am comfortable with Linux distro and Windows 11?

Goal: I am trying to save electricity. Instead of keeping seperate machine for daily driver, I want to use same machine that I use for server.
