When will recruiter salaries reflect the public vitriol ?

Recruiter salaries have crashed while the global vitriol has increased. People think recruiters are vindictive, idiotic, and deserving of low pay for their ‘immoral’ job. But isn’t that the same reason other jobs pay better than their skillset would normally demand. Debt collectors have a higher salary because they are disliked. ICE has good sign on bonuses for being hated.

I see so many companies constantly hiring recruiters to replace those who quit, spending thousand on agency and hundreds of meeting hours still unable to figure out why they can’t meet their hiring needs. Doing everything possible except paying recruiters enough to tolerate the hate.
