Parking charge and now they’re taking it to the court (looking for advice)
I parked at a paid parking space, mistakenly entered my other car’s reg details (was online payment portal). I later received a PCN. I appealed that I put wrong vehicle details and submitted evidence of payment. They replied asking for proof of card transaction, I happily submitted. Then they asked for driving licence and proof of address, I submitted. Then they asked for proof of card transaction ownership, I submitted my V5 copy. All of that was taking 1-2 months for them to get back to me with each step. Then I moved houses and now I received a final notice to pay £170 as I failed to provide extra details proving my ownership and next step is the court.
I’m not willing to pay such amount and thinking to go to court considering that I provided every evidence.
What is your advice?
