Airport parking tip: a hotel and parking package can sometimes cost less than parking alone!

I work for Holiday Extras, and one thing worth checking when booking airport parking is the price of a hotel and parking package (even if you weren’t planning an overnight stay).

Depending on your dates and the options you’re comparing, a hotel with parking included can work out cheaper than parking on its own. An overnight stay and a saving - what a treat!

If you’ve got an early flight or a long drive to the airport, staying nearby the night before can also mean a more relaxed start to your holiday.

A few things to check when comparing:

• Use the same parking dates and times: Compare the full package price against parking alone for your whole trip.
• Check where your car stays: Some hotel and parking packages include parking at the hotel, while others involve driving to a separate car park before heading to the terminal.
• Include any extra costs: Check whether transfers and overnight parking at the hotel are included.
• Look for flexibility: Having the option to amend or cancel your booking can be useful if your travel plans change.
